Humboldt Last Week features quick local stories.

The program also often includes interviews, comments from community leaders, lightheartedness, crime updates, new music, and event suggestions.

It's also available via Redheaded Blackbelt and 99.1 KISS FM Mondays.

Myles Cochrane hosts and he loves Humboldt. With a degree in journalism and broadcasting he's spent over a decade locally as a radio personality and reporter. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his daughter, girlfriend, and friends, staying active, soaking up Humboldt's natural beauty, and trying to make the best out of life.

Myles loves interviews (and hates referring to himself in the third person... "about" sections are weird). In addition to chats with Humboldt’s regular newsmakers, over the years he's had the opportunity to interview a number of interesting people including: musician Sara Bareilles, celebrity chef Guy Fieri, “SpongeBob” creator Stephen Hillenburg, actor Craig Robinson, NFL veteran Rey Maualuga, comedian Bill Maher, Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys, Aaron Bruno of Awolnation, musician KRS-One, musician Pretty Lights, Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion, Wayne Coyne of Flaming Lips, “Fight Club” author Chuck Palahniuk, “Eat Pray Love” author Elizabeth Gilbert, Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty of Slightly Stoopid, comedian Mike Birbiglia, comedian Dana Carvey, Bud Gaugh of Sublime, musician Michael Franti, Angelo Moore of Fishbone, John Gourley of Portugal. The Man, John McCrea of Cake, actress Anna Gunn, musician Talib Kweli, and musician G. Love.
